Shopify developer, Frankfurt. Custom themes, custom apps, integrations that work.
I build Shopify stores for merchants in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, from the first theme to a custom app. And I connect your store to what runs behind it: Amazon, CRM, newsletter, inventory. One person who does design and code himself.
Four places your store leaves revenue behind.
Most stores don't fail because of Shopify, but because of what was built around it. These are the patterns I see most.
Twelve apps installed, the store loads like 2015.
Every app loads its own JavaScript. Popups, review widgets and tracking scripts slow the product page down, especially on mobile. Several apps can often be replaced by clean theme code or one small custom app.
Your store looks like a hundred others.
A bought theme goes live fast, but it doesn't tell your brand's story. Product pages don't show what makes your product different, and B2B info has nowhere to go. Custom sections fix that without rebuilding everything.
Orders get copied by hand.
Order in Shopify, customer copied into the CRM, stock updated in the inventory system, Amazon maintained separately. Every manual step costs time and creates errors. An integration does it automatically.
Legal texts, unit prices, taxes: sort of half done.
Shopify is international. German requirements like unit prices, withdrawal, tax display or compliant reviews need to be built in properly. Switzerland and Austria add currency and shipping.
From the theme to your own app.
Start with one building block or get everything from one hand.
A theme that fits your brand instead of the other way round. Fully custom or on a solid base with your own sections and templates. You edit everything yourself in the theme editor, no code.
For brands that want to stand out. Own design system, lean code, only the features you need. Faster than an overloaded premium theme.
Comparison tables, tech data sheets, bundle areas, B2B info, campaign landing pages, built as sections you can use anywhere.
Unneeded apps and scripts out, images optimised, clean headings and structured product data, so Google and AI search understand your products.
Not every problem has a ready-made app, and some subscriptions cost more each month than a custom app costs once. I build apps for your store, including an admin UI in the Shopify backend.
Volume discounts, bundles, tiered prices or rules for customer groups, exactly how your business works.
Amazon and store reviews in one place, GDPR-clean and without third-party tracking. That's where my own app Webweezl Reviews came from.
Small tools in the Shopify admin that save your team work: exports, stock sync, order status, reports.
Orders, customers and stock land automatically where they're needed.
Sync products, reviews and data between Shopify and Amazon instead of maintaining everything twice.
Buyers in the CRM automatically, clean segments for newsletters, cart abandoners and repeat buyers. For B2B: inquiries straight into the pipeline.
Stock and orders in sync with your inventory system, revenue in a dashboard automatically. If your system has an API, we can connect it.
Starting from zero or coming from WooCommerce or another system: products, variants, customers and order history move over cleanly, old URLs get redirected so rankings stay. Payments, shipping, taxes and legal pages set up for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Industries I've built for.
D2C and B2B, small ranges and big catalogues with lots of variants. I don't name clients here. In a first call I'm happy to show you examples.
Your industry isn't listed? The basics are almost always the same: show products clearly, load fast, automate the busywork.
I don't just build stores. I build my own Shopify apps.
For clients and for myself. One example is Webweezl Reviews: Amazon stars and store reviews in one install, GDPR-native and built for EU merchants. I know Shopify app development from running apps, not from tutorials.

How we start.
Understand first, then build. You know what happens and what it costs before the first euro.
I look at your store or idea: load time, apps, product pages, backend workflows. You get a clear list of what helps most.
30 MIN · FREEWritten scope with theme, apps, integrations and timeline. No hourly surprises.
FIXED PRICEI build on a preview theme or development store. You follow along, your live store keeps running.
LIVE PREVIEWSwitch at a quiet time, checkout tested, short training. Then we keep going: I develop the store further with you.
LONG-TERMWhat a Shopify project costs.
A few new sections are a different thing from a new theme with a custom app and ERP integration. So there's no package price, but a fixed price after the store check.
The store check is free. 30 minutes, then you know what your store needs most. Whether you continue with me is your call.
What merchants ask first.

01Do I need a custom theme or is a premium theme enough?+
A good premium theme is often enough to start. A custom theme pays off when your store needs to stand out, you need special product pages (configurators, variant logic, B2B info) or the bought theme is so loaded with apps that it got slow.
Often the best route is in between: a solid Online Store 2.0 theme as the base, with custom sections and templates on top.
-
02What is a custom app and when do I need one?+
A custom app is an extension built for your store only. It makes sense when no App Store app solves the problem cleanly, you pay for three apps that only half work together, or data needs to flow automatically between Shopify and another system.
Examples: your own discount and bundle logic, Amazon reviews shown in your store, orders passed automatically to your inventory system or CRM.

03Can you move my WooCommerce store to Shopify?+
Yes. Products, variants, collections, customers and order history move over, old URLs get 301 redirects so your Google rankings stay. Backup and redirect map before the move, Search Console monitoring after launch.
-
04Is my Shopify store legally compliant for Germany?+
I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice. What I implement technically: imprint, privacy, terms and withdrawal in the right places, unit prices where required, cookie consent, correct tax display and reviews that don't break competition rules. The legal texts themselves come from you or a service like eRecht24.
-
05Which systems can you connect to Shopify?+
Anything with an API or webhook. Typical ones are Amazon, CRMs like HubSpot, Pipedrive or Zoho, email marketing like Klaviyo, payment providers, inventory and ERP systems, and reporting in Power BI or Looker Studio.
-
06Do you support the store after launch?+
Yes, and that's what I like best. A store isn't finished at launch. New products, campaigns, sections, apps, integrations: I stay your go-to partner and keep developing the store with you, as closely or loosely as you need.
And if you ever want to take over: all access, theme code and app code belong to you. You stay because it works, not because you're locked in.
